Dylan felt nervous. His stomach twisted when he had to meet new people.
His grandfather sat beside him. “Did you know you have a light inside you?”
Dylan blinked. “A light?”
His grandfather nodded. “Close your eyes. Imagine a small, golden glow right in your chest—soft and warm, just for you.”
Dylan closed his eyes and pictured it—a tiny flickering light deep in his heart.
